The Awesome Blogger Award

Processed with Rookie Cam

Hi everyone!
A little while back I got nominated by the lovely Everything Me to do the awesome blogger award, make sure to go and give her a follow! This award is themed around nominating other bloggers that you think are simply awesome, which I will do at the end of this post. Thank you for nominating me Everything Me, I really appreciate it!

The “Rules” Of The Award:

  1. Thank your nominator and link their blog
  2. Insert the award banner
  3. Answer their questions
  4. Nominate 5+ people and give them 10 questions of your own

1. What’s your favourite season?
I would have to say either spring or summer, I just love when it starts to get warmer and brighter. In the summer I also break up from school which is a plus haha!

2. What’s your favourite book you have read so far this year?
That’s a hard question! I haven’t really read that many books this year, as I just haven’t found that many that I want to read. I feel like I am in a period were I am kind of changing what type of books I like to read. One book that I found really interesting and I loved, was “Ibland mår jag inte så bra” by one of my favourite YouTubers. Yes it is a Swedish book, but I still wanted to mention it. Also, I want to mention a book called “Since you have been gone” by Morgan Matson. However I did read it last year, but I really loved it!

3. What are you most looking forward to in the coming months?
My holiday! I am so excited to finally get away for a bit, as it doesn’t happen that often.

4. If you could read a book about the rest of your life, would you?
No, definitely not. I just feel like it would be so boring knowing what is going to happen the rest of your life, it would just feel like your whole life is planned to be a certain way and you wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.

5. Is there anything you regret not doing in your life?
I honestly don’t know, I am only a teenager and I haven’t lived that many years. There are a few things I regret not doing, but they aren’t big things and not anything I feel like sharing on the internet<3

6. What is your favourite photo you’ve ever taken (and if can you insert it)?
Being a blogger I have taken a lot of pictures, and having to choose only one is quite hard. I can insert one that I have taken that I really like, so one of my favourites.

7. What are your favourite hobbies (apart from blogging)?
One of my favourite hobbies is gymnastics, I am a gymnast and I would love to do some gymnastics related posts, I am just not sure if any of you would like to see that? I also love dancing, I have taken dance lessons in the past but I ended up choosing gymnastics instead. Other than that, I don’t really know. I mean I do love baking and stuff like that too.

8. What’s your favourite shop to buy clothes from?
I would probably say H&M, but of course I have other ones that I like too.

9. Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years time?
I am not sure, but I hope I have continued to do what I love and also know what I want to do in the future. Otherwise, I don’t really know?

10. What is your favourite blog post you have ever written?
I can definitely say that I am a perfectionist, and of course some blog posts turn out better than others. I think it’s either my Tanya Burr Illuminating Powder Highlighter First Impressions and Review or A Little FeelUnique Beauty Haul.

My questions for the nominated bloggers:

1. What is your favourite quote?
2. What language would you like to learn?
3. Do you know what your name means, and if so what does it mean?
4. What do you love the most about blogging?
5. When you were little, what did you want to become when you were older?
6. What is the most ridiculous thing you have ever bought?
7. Do you have any hidden talents?
8. If you had to swap blogs with someone, who would it be and why?
9. Do you have any “weird” food combinations that you love?
10. Who/what inspired you to start your blog?

I nominate:

Thank you so much for reading lovely!

My Everyday Summer Makeup Routine| Collab with Holly

Hi everyone!
Who is excited for another collab? I know I am!
This post is a collab with Holly, Make sure to go and give her a follow if you haven’t already, she takes some of the most gorgeous beauty/lifestyle pictures<3
We decided that we would each do a post on our everyday summer makeup routines, so here is mine if I decide to wear makeup that day.

I go for a more natural look on an everyday basis, and especially in the summer. These are the products that I have been using lately, on the days were I have been wearing makeup. I don’t wear makeup every single day, but quite often anyway. Some days I will only use a few of these products, or other products, but this is mainly what I use.

These are the makeup brushes I have been using lately. I have also been using a beauty sponge, however I haven’t found one that I like yet. I thought I wouldn’t mention it in this post, as I wouldn’t recommend it, but it is the Nicka K Airbrush one.

The first brush I use is the Luxie large angled face brush, I love it for bronzer and other cheek products too. Next to that I have the Real Techniques setting brush, that I like to use for powder on smaller areas of the face, and it works great for highlighter too.
Continuing with Real Techniques, I have their brow brush. I think it’s a great brush, even if it is slightly bigger then your normal brow brush. Then next to that I have the H&M brow and lash brush, which I think is a good brush considering it’s more affordable.

The first thing I use is concealer, and my all time favourite one is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, I have mine in the shade 15. This is a perfect colour match for my skin tone, and has great coverage.

To set the concealer I have been using the ELF Translucent Mattifying powder with my Real Techniques setting brush. I think it does quite a good job setting my makeup, and making it last longer.

For bronzer I have been loving The Body Shop’s Honey bronzer in the shade 05. It works
the best for me in the summer time, but I can make it work with a lighter hand if I am not tan enough.

I have yet to find the perfect brow product, however I do quite like this one. This is the
Elizabeth Mott Queen of the Fill tinted brow gel in the shade light-medium. And you might be wondering, why is she using a brow brush for brow gel?
This is just a little too cool toned for my eyebrows, and the tiny applicator does apply quite a lot of product. But when I used a brush with it I just felt like it looked better and more natural.

I have found a new favourite mascara! I have been curling my lashes with an eyelash curler, and then using Maybelline’s Colossal Volume Exprees mascara, I just love how it separates my lashes but still gives to volume. I don’t like clumpy lashes on myself, and I was quite sceptical towards it in the beginning. However, I absolutely love it and I don’t regret buying it at all.

Then lastly for lips, I have been loving the Viva La Diva Superlicious lip gloss in the shade Romance. It’s a perfect everyday neutral pink, and it isn’t sticky at all.

And that’s everything! Thank you so much for reading, and thank you for doing this collab with me Holly!

Sleek Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi everyone!

For this weeks post I thought I would do another review! As some of my fellow beauty bloggers might know, Sleek Makeup is a more affordable cosmetic brand that has come to be quite popular, especially during this past year. I have owned this palette for a few months now, and I am so excited to share with you all my thoughts on it.
By the way, do you want more reviews? Or do you prefer hauls? Make sure to comment down below, I really appreciate getting comments from you all<3

This is the Sleek Makeup I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in a “A New Day”, and is one of many different ones that Sleek has launched. As you can see, mine is quite a neutral palette with matte browns, transition shades and some lighter colours. There is also some gorgeous foil type shadows that we will get into later. If this palette isn’t your thing, then there are other palettes with other kinds of colours with some added pop of colour. I have even seen a palette with loads of neon colours only. They have got everything, that’s what I am trying to say. I don’t know how those palettes are, but I know for sure that I love this palette.
I got mine from a H&M store, as they sell a lot of different makeup brands in the store I went to. It was about 100 kr/ 12$/ 10 £, which is quite a good price for what you get in my opinion.

So in this palette you get five matte eyeshadows, six foil type eyeshadow and one shimmer. There are a a lot of lighter shades in this palette, which I think is one reason why I love it so much. On a everyday basis I don’t use that many darker shades, so this palette is great for that, however I still do like the fact that there is some darker shades in here. It just makes the palette even more versatile.
You get a little double-sided eyeshadow applicator with the palette, but I just took it out as I never use those anyway.  We can also appreciate the fact that you get a nice big mirror, which is a huge plus. I am really impressed with the packaging, and the shade selection in this palette.

I know I am awful at swatching, but let’s look past that. These are the five matte shadows in the palette. I apologise that you can’t see the lighter shades, but there is a matte light shade in the middle.
The matte eyeshadows have a very smooth and buttery formula, the purple brown colour does have some fall out, but that is because it is the most soft and buttery one of them all. It is still pigmented so I don’t mind it really. For being a more affordable palette I think that the matte shadows are really nice, and they look very good on the eye. They also pair really well with the other shadows in the palette.

The shadows from left to right:

A really nice brown, grey colour that is cool toned. Great transition colour too.

*Let It Go
A warm toned light burnt orange shade. Works great as a soft crease colour.

*Be Happy
Light cream colour. A must have in a palette to set eyeshadow primer for example.

*Carpe Diem
A purple mauve shade, goes so well with the other shadows. Love this colour!

Dark chocolate brown. This is the darkest colour in the palette, great for the outer corners and with a lighter hand in the crease.

Can we just take a moment? Look at them!
When I got this palette I was very impressed with the foils. I call them that as in my eyes they basically are. Just look at the gold to the right! I only use my fingers to apply them as that is the easiest way in my opinion. Brushes just don’t pick up foils that well, and these are no exception. All of them except one glide one really smooth and pigmented.
Then the shimmer is the one that is the most to the left. I know you can’t really see it, but it looks better on the eye in my opinion. It feels very silky, and I have just recently started to use it.

The shadows from left to right:

*Feelin’ Good
An a ice white shimmer, great as an soft inner corner highlight.

White, reflective foil with undertones pink and bronze.

*Shine On
This is the foil that isn’t good. It is a gold, warm toned champagne shade, and it just isn’t really good. It is chunkier and less pigmented.

*Silver Lining
Cool toned silvery grey foil.

*Don’t Worry
Gold, bronze foil that has slight green undertones.

A rose gold shade. I love this one so much!

*Sun Is Shining
A gold, very reflective foil!

Over all I think this a great palette, especially for the price. There are a lot of different palettes, so you can probably find your favourite. This is actually one of my absolute favourite eyeshadow palettes, it’s just so handy and versatile. I hope you didn’t mind that this post is so long, let me know if you prefer them to be shorter or not!

As always, thank you so much for reading! By the way, can you count how many times I mentioned the word “Palette” in this post? Probably way too many haha! I counted to about twenty..

Tanya Burr Illuminating Powder Highlighter First Impressions and Review

Hi everyone!

Does anyone else get excited about highlighters? I know I do, and so when I saw Tanya’s new illuminating powders I had to get one. In this post I am going to be giving you my thoughts on one of her new illuminating powder highlighters.

First Impression (13/7):

If you have been keeping up with Tanya Burr Cosmetics, you will know that she launched three illuminating powders, as well as contour sticks and tinted lip balms in her “Chasing The Sun” summer collection. When I first saw what products she was launching, I knew I had to try something. I gravitated towards the illuminating powder highlighter (duh). I went on FeelUnique’s website and ordered it only two days after she launched it, which I was very excited about. The highlighter was about eight pounds, which is a very good price.

First of all, can we just discuss the packaging? I actually love the look of the packaging, I really think Tanya did a good job with designing it. This highlighter looks more like a high end product, it does feel a bit luxurious. The actual highlighter itself also looks super stunning, it is domed shaped and looks like a baked highlighter. By the way, doesn’t this remind you of the Hourglass ambient lighting powders?

Anyway, I ordered it in the lightest shade available, which is the shade “Champagne Sorbet”. She brought out more of a bronze colour, a pink one and this one which is intended as a highlighter. Judging from my first impressions I am not sure that it will fit my skin tone that well, if it was a bit lighter I think it would work better for me.
I can tell from swatching it on my hand that this is one of those highlighters that you can build up for more of a glow, more of a “real life” natural highlighter. Personally, I think that is quite a good thing. However, I noticed that there was quite a bit of glitter in this. That doesn’t necessary mean it’s bad, I just prefer a little less glitter in my highlight and more of a glow.
However, I am going to be trying this out anyway, as it seems to be a gorgeous highlighter!

Review (22/7):

I have used this highlighter quite a few times now, and I think that it just isn’t for me. It is too dark for me, however I can make it work, but I can also reach for a highlighter that is lighter. It does have glitter in it, which isn’t my favourite thing. But, for the price, it is a good highlighter if you have a darker skin tone. There is glitter in it, so if you don’t mind that then you will probably really like it. You can build it up for more of a blinding glow, or go for a more natural, dewy look. On me it doesn’t accentuate my pores either, which I like. It kind of has pink undertones too, as you can probably tell from the picture.

I think I can make it work if I am a bit more tan, however to be honest it is sadly a little bit too dark for me.
If I look straight forward, I can tell that the highlighter is there as it is a little bit too dark for my skin tone. However, it is not that noticeable. I can use it, but I would be aware of it not fitting my skin tone perfectly. I don’t have that fair skin, but anyone that has more of a tan skin tone it would look a lot better on.
You can tell that there is glitter in the highlight, which I am not a huge fan of. So if you don’t like highlighters with glitter in them, then you won’t like this. It still gives a pretty glow and feels creamy though.

– Is buildable, so you can go for either a more natural look or a more blinding look
– Would work for several different skin tones
– Smooth formula
– Doesn’t accentuate pores
– Pretty packaging
– Affordable price

-Not a wide shade range
– Only available online in a lot of countries

Over all I think it is a pretty good highlighter for the price, just not right for me. Even if it didn’t match my skin tone, I think Tanya created a shade that could work well on a lot of skin tones. Of course this is just my own personal opinions, so you have to try it for yourself to see how it works for you.

Thank you so much for reading as always!

The Perfectly Imperfect Tag

Hi everyone!

Today I am doing another tag post that is quite different to what I usually post. I got tagged by the lovely Its Simpy Me, Jasmine to do this post, make sure to go and follow her because her blog is amazing, and she posts so often. You go girl!
Anyway, this is going to be quite a hard post to do, as you really need to put some thought and effort in to the answers. I am by no means good at these kinds of posts, but I am going to try my best!

Asqa Says What created this tag, I think you should all go and check her blog out as well as her post about this tag. I think this is a really important tag, and I hope as many bloggers as possible will do this. It’s about loving yourself for who you are, and do spread positiveness to others. We are all in this together, and if somebody is having a bad day as we all do sometimes, we can spread positiveness and help each other.

The Rules Of This Tag:

* Copy/paste the image of the tag in your post.

*Make sure to share a little blurb about the creator of the tag.

*Give a shout out to the person who nominated you.

*Talk about what your strengths are, and what you love about yourself. These can range from anything positive about you, or your future aspirations and goals.

*Who/what are you inspired by, and how do you want to make a difference?

*What’s your advice to those that struggle to love themselves, and to those that doubt themselves?

*Lastly nominate as many bloggers as you would like (ranging from 1 to whichever amount you choose) and let them know that you nominated them.

My Strengths and Things I Love About Myself:
One thing I like about myself is that I am thoughtful, I feel like I am sometimes to thoughtful about others. I would find it so hard to say something nasty someone else, even someone who I know very well. Sometimes I feel like it only matters if somebody else is happy, because if they are happy, I am too.
Another strength is probably that I can be fun and also serious. Like if I am hanging out with one of my friends, we can have the best time together, and also be serious and talk on a more personal level. I always want  to make sure to be there for others, to help and support them through anything they might be going through.

Who/ What Are You Inspired By and How Do You Want To Make A Difference?:
I get inspired both by family and friends, and also others for example certain YouTubers.
My family and friends who are close to me can really inspire me, I think we kind of inspire each other. YouTubers and other people that I don’t personally know, also inspire me. Like Kathleen Lights, her job is all about beauty, filming and editing. That is one of my dreams, to be able to work with something I love, like beauty, media, pictures and videos.
Other bloggers also inspire me, to continue blogging even if it is hard sometimes.
I would love to make a difference by inspiring others to do what they love. It would absolutely make my day to know that I have inspired somebody for example to start a blog, or anything positive to be honest.

What ‘s Your Advice To Those That Struggle To Love Themselves, and To Those That Doubt Themselves?:
You are not alone. We all struggle to love ourselves sometimes, but it will get better. Do something that you love, hang out with others or have some time for yourself. Try to shake of the feeling that you are alone, because you are not. If you are feeling insecure about yourself, and feel like everyone is judging you, that’s probably not the case. They could feel just like you, they could be insecure and thinking that everyone is judging them. That’s why we need to notice that we aren’t alone<3

Bloggers That I Nominate To Do The Tag:

Freckled Fashionista

Flawed Mermaid

Autumn Girl

The Emma Edit

And anyone else who would like to do this tag! I know that I tag some of these bloggers quite a lot.. I am sorry ❤ Anyway, this is quite a hard tag to do so I don’t expect you guys to do it. Personally I found it quite hard anyway.

A Little FeelUnique Beauty Haul

Hi everyone!
I recently got my order from FeelUnique, and I am so excited to be using these products. I didn’t get that many products, I was just checking out their summer sale, and they had amazing prices so I wanted to get something. I ended up only saving one pound.. but that’s just because I didn’t get more then one thing that was on sale. If you haven’t already checked out their summer sale, then you should. I am not sure if the sale is still on, but if it is they do have some amazing prices.
This is the second time I have ordered from their website, and so far I am really impressed with the service and the shipping. I think FeelUnique is really good for those who don’t have easy access to brands that are popular in places like the USA or England, as they ship to a lot of places. Anyway, enough rambling and let’s get into the things I got!

The first thing that I got is the Maybelline Colossal Volume Express. For some reason I thought that Maybelline’s mascaras would be quite clumpy, as a lot of them claim to be voluminous. Personally I don’t like the look of clumpy lashes on myself, but I when I got this I tried it, and so far I really like it. It separates but still gives volume and length, and I now understand that volume doesn’t need to equal clumps.
I have been on the hunt for a good mascara, as I am out of my favourite Benefit mascara and I want to try something new. The reviews were very positive, so I decided to pick this up and I am really happy I did.

I am so excited for this highlighter! This is the new illuminating powder by Tanya Burr in the shade “Champagne Sorbet”. I managed to get my hands on it two days after she launched it, which I am so happy about. The highlighter looks lighter on the picture then in real life, so I am hoping that it won’t be too dark for my skin tone. It looks super pretty so I hope it’s good!

The last thing I got is this Real Techniques setting brush, it’s a very versatile brush that I thought would be great for highlighter as well as setting smaller areas of your face with powder. I have been wanting to try out their face brushes, as I absolutely love their eye brushes. When I saw this on their website I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to try one, as I know that they are so good. Also, the packaging is so pretty so I just couldn’t resist. It is super soft and I can’t wait to use this!

Thank you so much for reading gorgeous!

My Favourite Summer Beauty Products 2017

Hi everyone!

Earlier today I was trying to come up with ideas for blog posts, and I decided after a while I would do a post all about my favourite summer beauty products, as simple as that. As summer is finally here and I am so excited, I thought this would be a perfect post. The products I will be showing you are products that I use and love- especially under the summer season.

The first thing that I have been loving is The Body Shop Honey Bronzer.
It is a matte bronzer that comes in quite a wide shade range, especially for very pale skin. Mine is in the shade 05, which I got last August when my face was quite tan, as I find it easily gets in the summer. So I matched the bronzer after my skin tone when it was tan, and so through the winter season I had to use a lighter hand, otherwise it would be a bit too dark and orange. Anyway, I really like to formula and the look of it on the skin, and I am looking forward to using it this summer. Also this bronzer does look a bit lighter on the picture than it does in real life.

The next product is a face cleanser by the brand FORMULA 10.0.6, and it’s called Be Berry Ready Daily Foaming Cleanser. It has blackberry and coconut in it that claims to detoxify, soothe the skin and wash away impurities, and then leave the skin moisturised, soft and ready for the day.
I got this because I was on the hunt for a cleanser that wouldn’t totally dry out my skin. I must say I have quite a difficult skin type, combination and also quite sensitive. My T-zone can be oily while the rest can be dry, I find it enough to wash my face with water to feel that it has gone dry. When I saw the section of products from this brand, I just looked for one that didn’t claim to remove oil, and this one was one of the few. It did feel quite weird in the beginning as it didn’t dry out my skin as much as I am used to with other cleansers. Now that I have been using it for a few months I definitely think it is the best cleanser I have tried and I will repurchase it. However if you have oily skin I don’t think you would be as huge of a fan of it.
This is something I would use all year round, and I have been using it that much that I thought I would mention it as I haven’t really done it on my blog that much.

I don’t think this one will come as a surprise, as many people love it and so do I. It is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in the shade 15. It has a very nice amount of coverage, I would say medium to high. It feels nice on the skin and lasts all day, perfect to just use instead of any heavier products. I will usually just put it on my spots and underneath my eyes, and I usually don’t tend to use it everyday in the summer, only if I want that extra coverage. I definitely recommend checking this out if you are looking for a new concealer, however there isn’t a wide shade selection at all. This is probably my favourite concealer at the moment<3

Another product from The Body Shop, is the Pinita Colada Shower Gel. They launched it last year and I think it is still available this year. I remember getting it just days after it arrived in my local The Body Shop store, and I wasn’t sure about it in the beginning. But the more I used it, the more I loved it, I just think that I was expecting a sweeter scent. It does smell sweet, but not too sweet, it’s just perfect. I am super excited to continue using this throughout the summer!

The last product is the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical. I use this all year round, but the packaging definitely reminds me of summer and the scent too. It is also a nice product to have in the summer, you can just spray it in and go, in case you can’t be bothered to wash your hair or if you don’t have the time to. Maybe if you are on a holiday, or if your hair tends to get oilier in the summer, then this is a perfect product to have.

Thank you for reading! What are your favourite summer products? Would love to know<3

Neutrogena Visibly Clear CC Cream First Impression+ Review

About two weeks ago, I got the “Neutrogena Visibly Clear Correct and Perfect CC Cream” when I was out shopping. I had not heard anyone talking about it, but I thought I could do like some kind of review when I have tested it out.
Then I thought I could do a first impression, and then come back a few weeks after and do a review. So that is what I am doing in this post! When you are reading this, it has probably gone a few weeks since I wrote this, but I hope that I do get this up in a few weeks.

First Impression (15th of April):
I have tried the CC cream twice on my face, but I feel like this still is a first impression as I have only kind of checked that it is my shade and that it doesn’t dry my face out.
I got mine in the shade light, and I think that there only is three shades available, which isn’t a wide selection at all. However, I do think these will adapt more to your skin tone, since they are not foundations.
The formula feels nice and hydrating, has a light coverage and feels lightweight on the skin. I don’t feel like I am wearing anything, it sinks in to the skin and I don’t think that there is a need for powder unless you have oily skin (I don’t have oily skin, I can just assume that because it isn’t matte and it is hydrating).
It claims to cover and correct breakouts and spots, however when I applied it on my problem areas, I could still see redness. It definitely did help though, and I guess you could build up the coverage. I think so far that this is really nice if you just want that little something, maybe on a really hot summers day.

Review (25th of June):
I might have left this a bit too long, but I thought I would continue this post anyway.
To be honest, I haven’t used it that much, but I definitely have used it enough to know my opinions on it. As I don’t use foundation on an every day basis, I like to use concealer and just cover redness, spots and darkness. So with this CC cream I just used it kind of like I do with my concealer but on my cheeks too.
I find that it obviously doesn’t too as much as a a concealer would, so it’s more like a light coverage cream and does colour correct quite well. I tried using it on my problem areas like in between my brows (does anyone else have the same problem?) and it did kind of cake up a bit. Like I don’t know if it’s because I might have dry skin, but I don’t think so. I especially noticed this when I put powder on top. However I don’t think you need powder on top if you don’t have oily skin.
Other than that, I think it is quite a nice CC cream if you want something that is a bit lighter on the skin, especially for the summer!

Thank you for reading! Have you tried this out? Leave your opinions down below if so<3

What’s On My Vanity 2017

For today’s post I thought I would show you what is on my vanity, and by that I mean the things I have on top of my IKEA Alex five drawers. I store all of my beauty items in Alex drawers, as a lot of other people do as well. I really like storing my stuff in it, as well as decorating on top of it.
Hope you enjoy reading this post, and if this post is appreciated I could definitely do more similar posts to this, maybe a makeup collection or something like that<3

So this is a full overview of what I have on top of my Alex drawers.
On the left I have my hairbrush, a hair tie, and a nail file. I like to have them there so that I can reach for them when ever I need them. Next to that I have my lip product holder, and in it I just have all of my lip products.
I then have my brushes, my makeup sponge and a few other items I like to display.
I also have a mirror, however I don’t really use it any more as I have got a new, better one with lights that I have where I actually get ready. In this post I won’t actually be showing where I get ready, but it is just next to my drawers.

I might do a separate post about my lip products, but for now I will just briefly browse through what I have in my lip product holder.
So I have some lip products by Maybelline, The Face Shop and Viva La Diva. Behind that I have Tanya Burr Cosmetics, IsaDora, NYX, The Beauty Crop, H&M and more.

As you saw before, next to my lip products I have my brushes and my sponge.
The blending sponge is from Nicka K, and it is called the professional airbrush FX sponge. To be honest I just don’t like it, it is so hard and doesn’t expand one bit when you wet it. I am on the hunt for a new blending sponge, so if you know about any good ones, then feel free to leave a comment and let me know!

I store all of my makeup brushes in IKEA Skurar pots. They come in black and white, and they are just perfect for storing your brushes in.
In the black pot I have my face brushes. I have a Luxie brush, one from a Swedish brand, and one that I don’t actually know where it is from. I really want to get some Real Techniques face brushes soon!
In the white pot I have my eye brushes, and a eyelash curler. The eyelash curler is from Hot Makeup, and for the brushes I have some Real Techniques brushes from the eye set. I have two H&M brushes, and one from a Swedish brand. I also have a random eyeshadow applicator from my Sleek palette.

I usually switch up the items I have on display after season, or if I get any new things I would like to have on my vanity. At the moment I have a hand cream from CCS, a The Body Shop early-harvest raspberry perfume, a Batiste dry shampoo in tropical, and a Victoria’s Secret fragrance mist in Pure Seduction.

Thank you so much for reading! Let me know about any good makeup sponges in the comments<3 /Alice Xx

The Blue Sky Tag!

I ended up taking a little break from blogging, as I just didn’t have the time and the posts I were making I just wasn’t proud or happy with.
Now that I finally have summer break I am going to be focusing more on uploading blog posts regularly, and I am really excited to be back writing blog posts again. I really hope you guys enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them. It would be very appreciated if I could get some feedback on what posts I should do next, and what you think I should improve.

Anyway, I got tagged for the Blue Sky tag by the one and only: AriCouture
Thank you so much for tagging me, and I hope everyone of you will go give her a follow if you haven’t already<3

The way this tag works, is that I answer the eleven questions that the person that tagged me asked. Then, when I have answered them I will write my own eleven questions, and tag another 11 people.

1. What’s your favourite season in the year?
I actually don’t really know, as were I live I definitely get to experience all four seasons and they are all different from each other. However I really like the spring and summer. I just love when it gets light again, and all the colours come back to life.

2. What’s your go-to restaurant?
I can’t really answer that question as I don’t eat out that much on a regular basis, and I don’t really go to fast food places either. If I do eat out or order a takeaway, I will probably order from a pizzeria. Or maybe Thai and Indian food.

3. Have you ever been to a blogging event?
I haven’t, but I would absolutely love to! It would be so fun to meet other bloggers and get to know them, I really hope I get to go to one someday.

4. What is your number one tip for a successful blog?
Things do go hand and hand with each other, but I would say to keep your blog organized and tidy. Try to play around with the settings and have a nice layout. Organize when and what you are going to post, and always make sure you have wrote a blog post that is easy to read, and is in the correct order. A good picture is also a thing that adds a more organized look. And also, I would really appreciate some feedback to help me improve my blog, as I said before.

5. What’s your favourite social media outlet that you are always on?
Probably Snapchat, or Pinterest. However I don’t have a public Snap, but you can go follow me on Pinterest, I think it is enough to just search for Sprallice.

6. If you could change anything in your life, what would it be?
I don’t know, there are things that I would change that are more personal, but I don’t feel like I HAVE to change anything. There will always be things that you will want to change, but I am happy with were I am today, and I should always be thankful for that.

7. Who is someone you look up to?
My family, friends, youtubers and other online profiles, and many more. I look up to a lot of different people in many different ways.

8. Do you have any blogging budies you always talk to?
No, I don’t really have any fellow bloggers that I always talk to, however I do interact with a few bloggers by commenting on their posts and I have done several collabs in the past too.

9. Have you ever collaborated with someone?
Yes, I have! My first collab was with Liv: My Top 5 Lip Products|Collab with Liv

Then I did a collab with Kate: Beauty Storage Ideas | Collab with Kate

After that I did a big group collab: Warm & Golden Eye Look |Group Collab

And my latest collab was with my brother Sam: April Favourites |Collab With Sam

1o. What’s your worst fear?
I think almost everyone is scared of their family and friends to get hurt or pass away, which I am too. However something that I personally am scared of is insects. And by that I mean mainly wasps, and horseflies. I am ok with spiders and flies, but wasps and horseflies terrify me so much.

11. Where would you like to take your blog in the future?
This is such a hard question, because anything could happen. But of course I have my goals and hopes. I would love to go self hosted and upgrade my camera, to take better pictures for my blog. I would also love to have a YouTube channel besides my blog, and have them grow together. And I also hope that I have viewers that enjoy reading my posts, and just interacting and supporting along the way. But of course I am happy with were I am, and I am excited to see where this blog will take me.

My eleven questions:
1. Where is the farthest you have ever been from home?
2. What’s your favourite piece of clothing that you have owned/own?
3. What is something that a lot of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of?
4. What is the most annoying question people ask you?
5. Which movie did you watch last?
6. If you could spend a day in someone else shoes, who would it be and why?
7. What is the meaning behind your blog name?
8. What are you looking forward to these coming months?
9. What one thing do you really want but really can’t afford?
10. What is the most impressive thing you know how to do?
11. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
